Salle de la Libération

The city of Montataire in the Oise region attaches great importance to the quality of the venues it makes available to its denizens so they can meet in comfortable and ergonomic conditions during cultural or family events (shows, celebrations, etc.).

To that end, an old warehouse used by the technical services of the City became the Salle de libération (Liberation Room) following a complete renovation entrusted to the Lacau & Associates architectural firm, who opted to give the ceiling a unique cachet by using a model from the Tectonic 5.5 collection. Besides its unique aesthetic quality, this model offers an impressive acoustic performance based on two essential features: absorption to limit reverberation and diffusion to ensure speech intelligibility.
