Philips Headquarters
The Philips Group moved its Italian headquarters from Monza to Milan. The move presented an exciting opportunity to organize the internal space around two important components at the heart of the company's philosophy: teamwork and cross-functional cooperation. A private office is a thing of the past. Today, the space is designed to facilitate creativity and exchange. With the Philips Workplace Innovation program in mind, the interior of the building was organized as a single unit and transformed into a combination of mobile workspaces, group work spaces, quiet spaces and meeting rooms, all connected to each other by short corridors. Employees and managers can simply reshape the workspaces based on their function or the project they have been assigned to.
The objective for the event room was twofold: to create a prestigious environment by introducing high quality materials; and to provide an appropriate setting for exhibitions. The room leads to a multipurpose space where meetings, workshops or seminars can be held.
