Patrick Norguet
Patrick Norguet has been assuming the definition-role of an industrial designer. A role practiced in a mighty way, where each project born of an encounter extends beyond the simple quest for aesthetics and for the right line, to infuse in the course of travels, of the crystallization of collective imagination and different cultures.
Known to be humble, readily fading away behind the screen of collaborations, one can only observe that any entity signed by an expert hand is rooted in a history of factories, techniques, materials ... And landscapes with stories, cleverly mixing images and words.
Always drawing inspiration from his surroundings, Patrick Norguet aims to create products whose relevance and modernity will withstand the test of time. Today, he is a leading player on the international stage.
Just like building blocks, Harmony revolves around the use of the material. For this project, I wanted to work on the material’s structure through rhythms and a specific framework. The regular and irregular design of these panels makes them very unique: harmonious modulations that give a beautiful depth and a feeling of movement to the surface.
Bouchardé is both a material and a surface. For this new collaboration, I wanted to treat concrete as a material before anything else. So I focused on creating a regular/irregular texture. The result is a palette of raised surfaces, a vibration that brings together the finishing work and the use of concrete on a horizontal surface.
