The concept

The Innovation Trophies is a competition organized as part of the annual WorkSpace Expo event, which brings together the main international players in workspace design. It is a tool that promotes innovation as a competitive advantage. For the 2021 installment, the professional jury panel composed of contractors, architects and journalists awarded the prize to SuperOrganic by Oberflex. "This is a real favorite of the entire jury panel" said Eloi Chafaï - Normal Studio, at the time of the award ceremony.

SuperOrganic rewarded for its originality

The panel of jury was seduced by this "different" proposition that provides office users with "visual, acoustic and olfactory comfort".

This new collection is exclusively composed of organic or recycled plants that are first dried then glued together on a linen canvas.… The 14 models of he collection, which come in thin, flexible panels are made with organic hay, cornflowers, roses, delphiniums, sunflowers, green moss, spelt, lavender, walnut, oak… These panels are to be glued directly onto the wall or to be veneered onto an acoustic panel substrate.

 
Acoustic comfort

The soft and porous nature of the surface alone gives this covering acoustic qualities by reducing sound wave reverberation. For optimal absorption, the coverings are veneered onto rigid and perforated substrates. The sound waves are then absorbed and almost completely transmitted to the substrate.
