Gresham Private Bank
In the heart of the 8th arrondissement of Paris, this office building dating back to the late 1920s has been given a new lease on life. A complete renovation was carried out to recreate an attractive work environment and to offer functional and pleasant offices in this quality building.
The building is a play on transparency and conjures up a muted and luxurious atmosphere. The reception desk, the ramp and the monumental staircase have been updated with wood cladding and warm leather or copper metal highlights.
Along the mezzanine, micro-architectures made of wood slats lined with felt allow for a pleasant and friendly hosting of clients in a sub-space.
The walls of the boardroom are covered with Obersound Rain perforation panels, an acoustic solution that limits the reflection of sound waves by absorption and promotes speech intelligibility.
On the ceiling, the Tectonic 5.5 Friction model helps to improve the acoustics but is also a true aesthetic asset in keeping with the architects' desire to improve the building's efficiency and appeal.
