Le Bon Marché - Bookstore
Le Bon Marché is a French department store that sits on a block bounded by rue de Sèvres, rue de Babylone, rue du Bac and rue Velpeau in the 7th arrondissement of Paris. The first Au Bon Marché store was founded in 1838 and the current building was built in 1869.
The bookstore offers a space dedicated to literature and fine arts under the magnificent glass roof of the 2nd floor. Restored by art craftsmen, the windows delicately filter the light from the sky to bring out the very essence of oakwood.
